It seems the universal subject to take photographs of, are the elderly. Perhaps because of the character that those years of living has given to their face, and the wisdom that is folded between the flesh on their face translates to a good photograph.
The inevitability of old age presents itself in this picture of my mum’s feet. She turns sixty-four this year and she is still as joyful a lady as when she was my age. I can tell that she is proud of everything that she’s achieved and so she should be.

SMALL SQUARE BOOK
Using a restrained visual language, we were asked to create a square book, using any medium. I chose to use photograph people or everyday objects with the intention of drawing a likeness between the object and a musical note or symbol. The idea: music is all around us.
The end product is a perfect bound 150 x 150mm square book, with a wrap around cover featuring an image of piano keys.
